Usually I do my chicken with just rub, but sometimes I just want something comfy. These were cooked with Santa Maria rub with bbq sauce added for about the last 45 minutes.

These cooked for about 2 1/2 hours with the Daniel Boone set to 275 F.

They turned out nice and juicy. Nothing fancy here. Just some good tasty sustenance for the next couple of days. Sometimes that is what you need.

We'll freeze whatever we cannot eat over the next few days.

Looks great. I love making extra dark meat chicken to have in the fridge, I like it cold, nice snack.
