Installed Honda Ex4500 in 1997, still works great with manual transfer switch. In Ca we get brown outs all the time. Gen comes in handy when home. If i did not live in california i would look into one of these units. Although not allowed in my area (PGE has to OK it). This unit is pretty smart and simply. 30 Amp Meter Mounted Transfer Switch. https://www.homedepot.com/p/GenerLink-30-Amp-Meter-Mounted-Transfer-Switch-MA23-N/301961623

I finally got a reply back from Generac about the question I asked it their generators output a pure sine-wave:

"Good morning, our home stand by units offer less than 5 percent total harmonic distortion for clean, smooth operation of sensitive electronics and appliances. Hope this helps!"

I've had some square-wave inverters.  My pickup has 110v outlets scattered around.  I've not thought to ask if they're smooth sine-wave power.  I've also never used them (in the same way that I've never opened the huge sun roof).

Who cares, that is a beautiful truck. Nicely done!
Might want to wash it though.
