Preparation Tables
« on: February 23, 2021, 05:05:48 PM »

I have needed a preparation table for years but I just can't quite find one that fits my needs.  There's a possibility that the new stainless steel topped Blackstone Serve & Store Preparation Cart will.

I saw some photographs and liked it a lot.  IDK the pricing, but I was told that Walmart will stock it.

I'll update this thread as I know more and welcome anyone's thoughts on the Blackstone or alternatives.

A post in the AmazingRibs forum says it will be $250 at walmart. I use a stainless steel table I got at Costco a couple years ago.

I have two of those in my garage as prep tables.

If it is the one I am thinking of, the people on some of the Blackstone FB pages have shown them for about $400. I have not seen one but for me for that cost it better be made better than the frames on their griddles.

I also have a 4 foot SS table similar to the one in the link above. The casters are nice for moving and if you are taller it makes the height a bit nicer.

Per your suggestion, I looked at Blackstone on FB.  What a mess!  They apparently have no moderators that will remove blatant ads for MLM groups, click bait or bizarre posts about plots to steal your DNA.  I bailed out after spending about five minutes trying to find something relevant to Blackstone.

I kept my costco one outside in the rain and elements. Didn't have any noticeable problems.

Mine will be stored out of the weather and rolled outdoors for use.
