I'm going to buy them again.  And, my wife didn't give it a thumbs down so that's a plus too.  Topped with Dietz & Watson jalapeno and cayenne cheese and the peppers & onions was very flavorful.  I didn't add any liquid condiments at all.  Not even my go to chipotle mayo from Boar's Head.  And a 1/3 is a nice size burger.

Wal-mart 73-27%.  Two 5oz patties, guac and mayo mixture, triple cheese, brioche bun.  Messy, but very Good!

I found a bag of 8oz burgers in my garage freezer and made them this week on my Weber since none of my pellet grills work right now.

Thanks to my friends Bill & Hia Brooks, who brought me some Bob's Big Boy Red Hamburger Relish to the cruise we both just finished.  I was able to take a trip to the past, I mean way back.  We are talking Fresno in the late 60's.  It was a little messy, but boy was it good.  A Big Boy Burger was like a Giant Big Mac, before the Big Mac existed.  I have no idea if Bobs made it past Arizona. I did not take the time to do the 3rd bun, but I am pretty sure I will have another cheeseburger in 2024!

I forgot about this one.  I tried to make a Big Mac on the Ship.  Right lettuce & pickles, wrong onions, cheese and burger size.  If they had American, I could not find it!  You aint getting a 145° burger on a Cruise Ship!

Bentley's comment on red relish on a Big Boy got me going down a rabbit hole! :rotf: I did not know there were three different Big Boy entities; the original Big Boy is just four restaurants in SoCal now, called Bob's Big Boy. Big Boy Restaurants(just called Big Boy) is mostly based in Michigan, and Frisch's Big Boy is based in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky(and is the version I'm familiar with).

Wikipedia was nice enough to supply a diagram of how the three Big Boys are made: very interesting!

There were Big Boys in North Dakota when I lived there.  Still in Bismarck according to Google Earth.  See the two Big Boy statues behind the vehicles queued up?

They're also spaced periodically along I-29 between Nebraska and North Dakota.

They use the Big Boy signs and figures, but are called Shoney's in parts of the south.

There was a Big Boy about 15 miles away from where I live now, but it has been gone for a long time.

According to the Google, there is be an Elby's Big Boy maybe 35 miles or so west of me, but I can not confirm that, I will have to swing by the address some time. But looking at a map it looks like it is a roofing company that is kind of out in the middle of no where.

Grilled some frozen pre-made burgers last night and put one of each on this sandwich.  Buns and Bacon and Cheddar burgers from Aldi and Hatch Chili burgers from Sam's Club.
