With those ingredients, it probably wouldn't taste like hummus.  And I would probably give it a try. ;D

Look for some or these next time you are at the store. I like the roasted red pepper and the roasted garlic. I have not seen the jalapeno or taco ones or I would have tried them. We have a store Giant Eagle that has their brand and the red pepper one they have is really good also. I usually eat it on some kind of crackers or the cheap round tortilla chips.

I've tried Hummus a couple times.  Didn't hate it, but just didn't like it.

My wife wouldn't have one.

My favorite concoction is Calico Beans.

Invite me over for BBQ and I'm likely to show up at the door with a disposable pan of Calico Beans.
