Stuffed mushrooms.
« on: September 07, 2022, 04:16:59 PM »

Thought this would be a good place for this.

Saw some larger mushrooms and decided to stuff.

Used hot sausage, diced jalapeno, onion, and some pizza cheese blend.

Filled and then in the smoke. Weather wasn't great here so just put them in the electric cookshack at 250 for about 2 hours. Lost track of time, but when I checked they were at 165°. Used a few apple chips for smoke.

The GF doesn't eat shrooms so I only did 4.

They turned out really good. Still have 2 left for tomorrow.

My kinda stuffed mushroom.  I can't stand when they ruin it with seafood in them.

I must disagree stuff mushrooms with chopped bacon and scallops or fresh crabmeat are great

I agree. But you must use fresh seafood and not what's left after the prime pieces are removed..
