Finally have an idea of burn time.

Slightly over 4x4x8. I always thought we were burning about 3-4 cords a month.

Figuring that the remainder will burn tomorrow.  It appears that a cord will last about 21 fires.  Some longer then the others, so at least I have a benchmark of what I need.  Now all I need to do is figure out how many cords it will take to get through 150 days and prepare for 25-26 fire season!

My math sucks, but I divided 150 by 21 and and came up with 7.14 cords.  I believe I will fall about 2 cords shorts for this season!

But as it warms up in maybe March and April you would probably use less I would think. So maybe you will be good. I heat with pellets and I use less once it starts warming up. Right now it burns 24/7, but I will switch back to auto once it gets warmer. I use 3 to 4 ton a year.

Do you heat with one of the outdoor furnaces or a wood burner inside?

Nice, does that heat the whole house? That is a lot of carrying wood in and ashes out, but sitting by a nice fire is a great thing.
