I just received an email from them to notifying their customers.  They had been in business for 15 years.

I remember this being a concern of those who bought their equipment years ago.  Didn't realize it was 15 years ago.  Too many big time companies with deeper pockets that can continue to invest in product development probably has not helped them.  Its unfortunate unless it was something that the company had planned for as their exit strategy.

I bought one of their products years ago.  They were charging for IOT connectivity.  I later bought Fireboard and never looked back.

I was just looking at their site the other day, I though how professional it looked, the new products and assumed they must be doing great.  We did the Product Reviews on their unit on Pelletheads.  They always treated us well the last couple of American Royal appearance's we made.  It is a shame.  I really do not have need for web based temperature monitoring, so something like the ThermoWorks bluetooth products work well around the house!

Thanks for the info!
