Thanksgiving Tri-Tip
« on: December 01, 2020, 12:44:43 PM »

With no relatives coming over for the holiday, we decided to keep it simple and make a non-traditional meal. Smoked tri-tip with béarnaise sauce, oven roasted garlic potatoes, and pan roasted brussel sprouts with maple syrup and smoked almonds.  Smoked the tri-tip on the Memphis at 180F until IT was 125F, then seared.

That's a home run.  Marcia and I love sauces.  Béarnaise tops the list.

I told my daughter tri tip over prime rib this year. Trip tip has a ton of flavor and it is really hard to mess up.
