We had 4 Lilly of the Nile this year (first time). Unique flower, looks like a giant dandelion bloom lasts about 10 days and then the little flowers fall off, and leave the "pin cushion" behind.  We had 2 purple and 2 off white.  They are bulbs and will no doubt be back next year.

We were in our local market this evening, they had regular butt for about $2.79/lb. which is high here.  But right next to it Natures Promise All Natural Picnic for $1.69/lb.

If you can find pork shoulder for $0.99; $1.29; $1.79 or even under $3 you best run out and buy all you can and pack your freezer full!!

Doing another pulled pork sandwich cook for 13 for my youngest daughter’s 40th. Hard to believe my youngest will be 40. Where does the time go?

Good advice!  I thought it was a deal at the regular price.  I did not even see the real price till I got home and took the picture!

Breakfast Sausage or butt bacon?  Anyone have a great go to country breakfast sausage recipe?
