A lot of schools have quality players, it takes more than that to make a top ranked team.

Wow!  I would hate to be a ND fan right now...cuz that team had no business in the playoff!

I think UCF could have done as good, if not better, than ND.  I hate the bias of the play off system.

I've often wondered how that werks...

My understanding is a portion of the bowl money goes into a bucket and split up with the other schools in the conference.
If ND is 'independent'; they get to keep it all?

Not a Michigan fan just rooting for Big Ten teams in the bowl games. I know Trooper was happy with the result but pretty positive his wife was not. He’s a big Michigan State fan as many of you know.
