This is half of the Rib Roast that I trimmed for the ribs. Seared it on the Lodge, and in the oven at 225° till 125°.

That's as good a prime rib roast as I have seen. Not sure I would smoke it anyhow. Good job!

a nice big chunk of that, a bit of the horseradishm salt and pepper and a baked tater stuffed with good butter.

Would cost you about $60 or more at a good restaurant. Everything else would be al a carte.

Looks great, Bentley. I run through your slicer would create some nice roast beef for French dip sandwiches, cheesesteaks, Italian Beef, etc.
