Don’t take me wrong, I’ve made some pretty good steaks on my pellet grills and if that’s all I had, it’s how I’d make them. My family just all thinks that charcoal steaks are a bit better.
I've been eying Weber kettles for searing and just for this purpose, you are starting to sway me!

I can't wait to try tri-tip.  I just found out that my Sam's Club has them and I'll be giving it a shot soon.

Trout and fish seem like they will be great but I haven't tried any yet.

Don’t care for steaks on the smoker at all. 

High temp salmon is good also.

Brisket is my favorite things to smoke but pork shoulders get done the most.
