Today’s treat
« on: April 06, 2019, 01:34:51 PM »

Firing up the new Traeger to make a special treat today. I’ve only made these a few times, but they keep having them on sale for $4.99/lb. so they may become more regular. Trying the top rack with Montreal Streak seasoning...going for steak on a stick.

Beef ribs. Ever tried them? I cook them to 200-205 like brisket or chuck and delish.

Should be great. Just put a rack into the SV for a 72 hour soak.

Finished product. Next time I’m pre-trimming more and going to 205 instead of 200. Hopefully can render a little more of the fat.

Man, I wish I could find ribs like that and at that price it’s like an early Christmas.

Thanks, I love them...bbq beef is my favorite. However, these did seem a little fattier than the others I’ve done in the past, but I usually go 5 degrees higher. We were too hungry to wait another hour this time :D
