There are some scrumptious meals here. You folks have done a lot of work.
As it was a good cooking day, I fired up the Memphis and cooked: baked potatoes, a new variety of acorn squash. It was small ~ 1/3 the size of what we are used to. Cut in 1/2, seeds scooped out, the cavity
filled ~ 1/2 full using raisins and filled with maple syrup. Later when cooked it was mashed minus the skin. Ended up as being the best acorn squash ever..
As well we had turkey medallions produced by our local turkey farm. They are one of their specialities....
Everything was firstly cooked @ 330º indirect then the turkey and potatoes were finished over the direct flame insert. This meal gave us immense enjoyment as did the weather. Just one of those days when
everything goes well.
