46 oz Ribeye
« on: July 10, 2022, 10:01:03 PM »

So I smoked at 150 for 2 hours on my Daniel Boone then seared in cast iron for 4 minutes a side then in the over for about 15 minutes until temp hit 129.  I let it rest for 10 minutes and there was still a lot of juices but it was delicious. I put a blue cheese compound butter on top and my it was good!

  Absolutely amazing!

Reminds me of what one would see in a movie: eat ALL of this & your meal is free. If not, you pay..

WOW - I thought I had a big one that weighed 30 oz.  It took me three days to eat it.

That is a beauty. I would try to tackle it.

At one time I would have had that and looked for another one, but those days are gone.
