I'm sure many here will agree about what 'socializing' has become.
I remember party lines. You had a phone on the wall (most homes anyways), and everyone on the block had access to the line it was connected to. You had to wait yer turn if someone else was talking. There was one area code for the entire state. You used to be able to call 'time' and a voice would tell you what time it was. This was a step up from writing letters and the USPS. These were rotary dial phones.
Then came the push button countertop version. If you had one of them, you were boss. Those lasted a long time, and then came the advent of the computer. The rest is pretty much history.
The sad part of it all is this rabbit hole we're going down will be the demise of our country. If you have a teenager with a cell phone (most likely a smart one), you know exactly what I'm talking about should it go down. Todays generation (pick a topic of blame), has little concept of researching anything. They pretty much believe everything, so the louder you scream and the more often you do; it eventually must be true. And the MSM is complicit in that area. MSM, + social media + ignorance/apathy/greed = anarchy. I'll let it go at that.
