Howdy from NW Iowa
« on: November 16, 2017, 08:27:55 PM »

Howdy all, I was a member of pelletheads for a while, some good some bad, but I thought everyone was gone. Glad to be wrong again. I currently have 2 GMG a JB and a DB. Had 3 but gave one to my daughter and her family. We were the team Oversize Load BBQ but took 2017 off due to health reasons, but before that on my GMG we won the 2016 Iowa team of the year in Ribs beating some teams like Iowa Smokey D's, Porky Butts, and Luckys Q.....sorry just am very proud of that accomplishment  ;D     and just wanna add that one of those teams at a contest in State Center Iowa was having some issues with his very expensive cooker on his big fancy trailer and had to come over to us, we were directly behind him and ask if he could use some of our pellets to get his fire on his stick burner to burn cleaner, of course I let him have some but I still give him a hard time about that. Pellets from my little ol pellet grill saved his cook on his big fancy stick burner.

Welcome from Omaha.

You are justifiably proud of those accomplishments.  Like Muhammad Ali reportedly said, "It ain't braggin' if you can back it up."

A charitable move in State Center.

Feed the hungry and help those in trouble.  Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.  Isaiah 58:10
