Does any have the Weston Pro 2300?

My brother is looking to upgrade and from I can remember this was one that had a lot of good feedback.

Any replies, good or bad are much appreciated.

I have the CG-15 from Cabelas which is almost the same thing.



8 years and 4 Food Savers later, from $79 to $299...Finally bought this the end of 2009, have had to put $60 in it for new seals and sealing strip, that is it.

(Edit: Yeah, Phrett is right, the unit came with an extra set of seals and strip, so I only have $30 in upkeep over the last 8 years...)

Hi, I have had this model for several years and never had any issues. I use it pretty frequently, just cut up 50 pounds of summer sausage and sealed it all up. Can't go wrong with this model.

I just purchased a Vacmaster PRO 350 and the one above appears to be very similar. So far, mine works great. The Weston Pro 2300 does not have the digital display.

My CG-15 has worlkedflawlessly for years.  Came with a spare set f sealing amd heating strips, yet yp be needed.

I’ve had the 2300 for 6 years, still going strong. You can’t go wrong with it or the one CG-15. The most sealings I’ve done at one sealing session is 48.

A big step up from a Food Saver.
