Fanatic, no. Some other colorful adjectives yes, but fanatic, no.  8)

Absolutely, for being too involved , too serious or just plain fanatical about outdoor cooking..A problem I now have is there are only two of us to cook for.

I've been called a one-trick-pony (by two of my co-workers who are asking me to smoke for them), does that count?

I've been called a lot of things, some of which cannot be printed here!  But I don't ever remember being called a fanatic.

I've been called many things over the years, mostly in Spanish, but also in English, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Punjabi and Lord knows what else.  It was all due to the job I'm retired from.  At least I could understand the stuff in English and Spanish.  Never been called a fanatic that I know of.

Of course! If you have 7 cookers on your back deck people tend to think you're over the top especially when the average bbq'r has one grill.

Fanatic status here. 4 cookers on the patio as of now(2 pellet, 1 Kamado, 1 gasser) and two at my folks house along with their Weber Kettle and gasser. Close to 3x that many have come and gone. I am on my 3rd ton of pellets. I want to buy an Uuni Pizza oven but I think my wife would kill me unless I thin the herd a bit.
