Davy Crockett WiFi $249.00 at Sams Club
« on: February 25, 2018, 08:27:59 AM »

Just bought my first pellet grill. It’s just the three of us and I still have my 22-1/2” WSM. Figured I’d get my firsthand experience with a pellet grill at this price and then go from there

Wow what a deal.  If I didn't have so many grills already, I would be all over that.

That is an outstanding deal - I've a Davy and it is one of my favorite cookers, especially when on the road traveling in the RV.

I wish I hadn't seen this... naw, thanks lyork for posting it.  My lil grill will be arriving shortly.

This one should be great for small meals.

That's a smoking good deal, includes the tote, cover and some pellets. I can say the cover is the best grill cover I have seen. Not one drop of moisture penetrates and it is heavy duty.

I’m trying to decide on a large size pellet smoker, but have zero experience with one. I saw this and figured it would be an easy way to get my experience on cooking dinner items like steaks, pork loin, chicken and maybe smoke some ribs. As I said...I’m a longtime Weber Smoky Mountain owner, so it’ll be my go to for overnight smokes

There are quite a few ways to increase the capacity of the Davy or any small cooker - vertical rib racks for example. I can cook the 3-pack of St. Louis from Costco on the DC.

Got this deal some time ago.  Fantastic value.

Using a rib rack I’ve done 4 racks several times.  Would like more room and considering a big cooker but the dc is pretty cool.

Favorite meal on it tho is ‘hey grill hey’ ‘tindins’ salmon and asparagus.   Higher temps and melt in your mouth goodness.
