frog mat question

I just got some of these.  after cooking some chicken legs and theghs they were pretty messy.  How do you guys clean your from mats?

I just soak about 5 minutes then scrub with a Scots Brite...

no big deal.  I just wanted to be sure.  I thought there might be some cleaner I had not heard of yet. After all... I did spell thigh wrong the 1st in the first post.

I assumed that is what you meant, and already tried it.  worked well.

Soak in hot soapy water in a cookie sheet for an hour and wipe clean with a sponge.

 Frog mats are made of Teflon Coated fiberglass. So treat accordingly. A good soak in soapy water and gentle brushing usually does it.. Think, Teflon coated cookware.

Soak in soapy water, gently brush off the gross stuff, then into the dishwasher.  No wear so far doing that.

I feel the same way.  I bought some on ebay from China for a little over $1 each that fit great in my MAK side chamber and in my dehydrator trays.  I came close to just throwing them out rather than cleaning them.

My wife puts them in the dishwasher - have had them for years and no evident wear.
