Easy and Delicious Smoked Wings
« on: March 18, 2018, 08:45:33 PM »

Keto friendly dinner featuring smoked wings 250 for 1.5 hours and 375 for 10 minute to finish. Could have gone longer to crisp up the skin but I was hungry.

Rub.  Evoo salt, pepper, tiny bit 5 spice, garlic powder and touch Montreal steak.

Made a sauce but was so good without it.

Sauce Was 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup Shriracha Hot Sauce 1tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp maple syrup , touch of peanut butter for thickness, 1tbsp yellow mustard for emulsifier, 1oz Yeungling,  Salt and pepper flakes to taste.

[/quote]I didn't have Frank's unfortunately. I'd add the white vinegar in for authentic Original  Buffalo Wings.

Those look awesome.  Gotta cook up some wings later in the week when I get back home.  Like the idea of using Yeungling in the sauce too.  Nice!

That is a great looking meal! When you cook them like that, how easily does the meat come off the bone?

Some may like it cooked a bit further but no issues with the meat hanging on the bones.  Just the right amount of bite for me.  Both tender and extremely juicy
