I thought it was going to be a pellet-fired drum smoker.  It's not.

Also, expensive.  I've had a recent charcoal drum cooker, and decided it was not for me.

I consider my WSM a drum smoker. Haven't used it since the Jr. arrived.

The only reason I keep it is; "what if the power goes out"?

Yeah, get one of those electrical adapters to run from your cigarette lighter or whatever they call it nowadays.  If you start the grill manually, the controller and fan hardly use any amps.  The hot rod doesn't use many either.

This has a lot of nice features but a Pit Barrel Cooker for $299 is hard to beat.
