Really thinned they herd today
« on: April 28, 2018, 09:07:11 PM »

Guess grilling season is finally here in Iowa. Between 8:00 and 3:00 I sold 3 grills and sent the Blackstone back to Amazon. Listed them yesterday around lunch and the Traeger had over 1000 views when it sold. I guess they’re still pretty popular. I’m hoping the buyers craft some good dinners for friends and family with them. Beats wasting away on my patio.

The Blackstone arrived damaged and after thinking more about how much I might not use it where I live, I opted just to return it and not get a replacement.

Nice to hear.  I sold my Weber gasser last week.  Need to decide if I will sell my Traeger XL or not.  It is taking the most room up in the garage and I could probably get the more for it than selling the Blazn.

I sold my Weber gasser today as well.  Got a lot more than I thought.  Now that's it's warmed up in Minnesota people are anxious to grill I guess.

Sold our well use Traeger a couple days ago. And I mean well used. The guy that bought it takes the good parts and transplants them into old refrigerators and turns them into smokers. Just a hobby he has but claims to make some good pocket change. For what he was willing to pay for the Traeger he must.

glitchy; May I ask, what was the reason to" thin the heard"?

Getting rid of what I don’t use. I sold a kettle since I have a performer as well, a gasser I couldn’t have used 10 times in 2-3 years, and my Traeger because it would likely never get fired up again with the Memphis. Might as well get a little cash while they’re still worth some.

Thanks glitchy. I am there too: I don't need to leave a legacy of pits and related behind.
