How difficult was the installation? I am consider the smoke daddy or Savannah on my woodwind as getting significant swings and on my second controller already

BC,

I replaced the CC controller with the Pellet Pro PID controller from SmokeDaddy precisely to address  the large temp swings of my SmokerPro DLX.  It really made a big difference.  I have also read very good things about the Savannah controller, also a direct replacement for the CC controller.

Hope this helps.

(1) Did you ever get flame outs with old CC controller?
(2) Did you replace the auger motor when you installed PID.
(3) How long have you been running with the new PID?
Thanks
