Timberline meat probe calibration

With the firmware upgrade they introduced a probe calibration in the settings menu where you can set a plus or minus offset. I'm going to set mine 10 degrees up and try it on an overnight pork butt cook. I'll compare it to my maverick and report the results.

Cook went well, sorry no pics. My phone is not able to upload to my computer right now. Put them on at 11:00pm 225. Took off around 1:00pm the next day. Temp was 195 on both the meat probe and the maverick. Happy to use the meat probe now. I did not use supersmoke, I don't trust it for long cooks with the soot issue. Probably the best pork butt this year. Salt and Pepper, then pulled/chopped and in Carolina sauce. Nice and simple!
