Today, as we gather with family and friends and eat good food and enjoy ourselves, take a minute to reflect on the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have served and sacrificed over the generations so that we can continue to enjoy these rights -- and those who stand up for and uphold these rights and principles in their everyday, ordinary lives and actions today. May we reflect on and remember the things that unite us as a country and try and work through our divisions.
