What Should We Do to Celebrate Pelletfan's Anniversary?
« on: August 17, 2018, 07:06:25 AM »

So next Wednesday, August 22, is our one year anniversary. What should we do to celebrate?

I thought about a parade, but Bent and I would look pretty silly on a float driving through the woods, so that is out.  Maybe Dozer and I will cruise around the yard in a golf cart waving a rib bone?  I could make a banner for the golf cart.  Hhhhmmmm..... need to give that a bit more thought.

I thought about fireworks, but I would need to drive 5 hours round trip to get them, so that is definitely out.

May just have to cook some fish sticks and tater tots.  Any of you have ideas -- or maybe you will be hosting your own PF Anniversary parties? :pig:

I think I like the idea of you and Dozer in a golf cart.   Can't wait for the u-tube video.

Try to do that always, don't need an anniversary.
Post a few photos of something cooking, middle of the week might be tough but the weekend before? The weekend before that?
I'm going to take the Davey Crockett and grill some Links and dogs.
I'll post a few photos.

In celebration, clean your pellet grill real good.  Then season it up for another year...Repeat.

Great idea!  We will do that with the revenue we generate from the ads on the site! :pig:

Next Weds. you say...hum, hump day, not know as a real traditional BBQ day.  I hope folks will post a picture of what ever they are cooking that day BBQ or not in here!

I might go with a Larry Friday Night Cheeseburger!

At the risk of bringing the site down I recommend that we see how many folks we can get logged in.  8 PM EDT/5 PM PST  Wed, 22 August, 2018.  We should beat the 65 online in January.  By 8 PM most folks should be home from work.  You could have an Anniversary check in thread if you wanted.  My 2 cents.

I like this idea, not saying I will remember, but I like it!

OK, I will have a separate thread and we will see how many folks:  (1) pay attention, and (2) remember.
