I really hate the bastardization of our Nations song. Truly. So many so called 'artists' screech their way through the symbol, that I find myself hitting the mute button on the remote.

But... This one is different. It's unlike any other I've heard. Just some guy in Hawaii, playing before his team and sharing his devotion to the flag and country. From an island way out there in a big ole pool of water.

I agree. Sing it they way it was meant to be. Hate it when someone tries to make their own version.

Sorry folks, I don't like either of the above.  I really like a classic version and, I think, you need to have a superior voice to really do the song justice.  This is the best version I have ever heard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_lCmBvYMRs

Yes Whitney Houston's version is an all time great.

Uh oh, here comes the voice of dissent.   Never really cared for the song in any form.   Much preferred America the Beautiful.
