The "WR" mark on the working side of a gfci signifies water resistant. The internals contain more corrosion resistant materials such as nickel plated contacts. These should be used in damp and wet locations.
The wr gfci should be covered with a "while-in-use extra duty" cover. This is a domed-out heavy duty clear plastic hinged cover with notches at the bottom to allow the cover to be closed while the cord(s) are
