We were at 890ft in Pasadena in the San Rafael hills, might have been close!

I remember when it snowed one day at work in Tecate and the guys I worked with were going crazy because they had never seen snow in their life.  Quite a surreal experience having grown up in the Northeast.

Forecast is for an ice storm tonight followed by 9 inches of wet snow.  I wanted to go to the Sports Show tomorrow.

We got snow in the Los Angeles area. There was snow on some of the hills around where I live in the morning, but it was gone by the afternoon.

I will be leaving at 3 AM tomorrow morning to climb a mountain down south. I had prepared for snow but it looks like a lot is melting, except at the higher elevations.

This is a long climb but it starts about sea level so the elevation is just above 5,000 feet. I may be able to leave the snow gear in the car.

Omaha, NE

Mist froze all night.  I had difficulty standing on a level sidewalk this morning.  Snow hasn't started (7:00 AM CST).

I'll be checking radars in Arkansas and W. Tennessee occasionally today to see if there's any severe headed this way.

Yesterday it was almost 50F in southeastern Michigan.  Unfortunately the winds were almost 50MPH too.   Then, last night it got down to 17F and the winds didn't slow down much bellow 18MPH.

I'm fortunate, that I still have my power.  As I understand it , there are roughly 100,000 people in southern Michigan without power right now.

Been sunny, but windy here for the last 36 hours. 15-20 mph with 30 mph gusts!  At least that will aid in drying out the ground faster.

Snowing? Windy? Cold?

It's called WINTER!

Hang in there folks. We're almost through February!
It wont be long and we'll be mega-complaining about the Heat, Humidity, and the Sweating.

We'll call that SUMMER!

Snow keeps on falling.  The weather bureau says we have had more than 50 inches this year.  The average snowfall in Fargo, North Dakota is 51 inches per year.

That's my Kamado in the far corner.  I haven't shoveled a path to it.  My PG500 is on the patio below this deck.  It's still available.

About a foot of snow on the table.  More on the deck surface.

Winter is over in Phoenix.  Weather.com is showing 84°/54° for Wednesday.   I'm not ready for summer.

I'd pay $5 for an 84° day right now...It is 38°, gray, overcast, drizzle and the ground is so saturated, it is simply miserable!

Snow just started falling here.  Forecast to get 4-8 inches.  They seems like quite a spread to me.

Beautiful sunny morning in Lakeville, MN. Only 6 below with 10-20 mph winds forecast (-35 wind chill). We smashed the snow fall record for Feb with 39" of the white stuff, normal is 7.7 inches. I'm tired of winter but the snowmobile folks are having a blast around here! Can't complain though, my prayers to those Alabama folks hard hit by that tornado. Terrible loss of life.
