So, just curious who is going out, who is cooking, and who is being cooked for on Father's Day? If you want to share details of what will be happening (or what happened) along with photos, please do.

It depends on how I feel. I have been under the weather for a couple of weeks. If I feel good I may go climbing. I am more of a doer than eater.
I may be eating leftover ribeye steaks from my bbq last night (see Three BBQ meal post).

Going with a tomahawk steak tomorrow. Never tried one, but looks fun and was $6.49 a lb. Even paying for the bone and additional hard fat, couldn't pass it up. 2.5 lbs. Pics to come tomorrow.

Pulled some jambalaya stuffed peppers off the Pitboss vertical earlier. Have 3 racks of baby backs in there now. Making some beer bath brats, potato salad, and green salad as well. People are supposed to be here at 5 today. It's rainy and nasty here.

I started a little early... doing beef and pork ribs. Wrapping them this time since I had not done that technique in awhile.
Photos after 3 hrs.
Note the easy Mac n' Cheese... recipe on pelletfan.com
I'll post the final product once complete.
*posted photo of final product... I think I'll stick to not wrapping and seasoning with salt and pepper.

I picked up about 40# of pork butt from Costco today. Will get on the pit tomorrow, and have pulled pork sammies for Fathers Day dinner. Planning on freezing most of the meat to re-heat and serve next Saturday at my daughters graduation party.

We did the meal tonight. My father in law grilled a killer beef tenderloin.

The RV resort I live in is having a "BBQ & Beer" get-together for Fathers day. I am smoking a pork butt, a neighbor is smoking a brisket, another neighbor is smoking ribs and another one will be doing chicken. The resort is furnishing everything.

I'm picking up pizza and cheesesteaks and heading to my parents house and taking my rib roasts to get sliced.

I voted to say I would be cooking, but Bonnie told me yesterday afternoon she is cooking tacos for me, so I'm being cooked for. She gave me a gift card to our local meat market, so I think I'll get me a tomahawk ribeye here in near future.

Carne Asada tacos with guacamole and/or mango salsa. Kind of a last minute decision. Also, yesterday they took me out to Karl Straus, a local brewery restaurant.

Cold Smoked some ribeyes earlier this morning, they are now in the Sous Vide bath right now and will finish on the screaming hot Blackstone.

Well it was my second cook on the new RecTec and in the middle of the cook we had a storm. Maybe I should say an ef0 Tornado (yep that's right). A lot of rain, wind, and puckered you know whats. I was just about to put the steaks on when the Civil Sirens went off and it hit. Lost power off and on for about 10 minutes. That sure dropped the temp on the grill LOL!!! All in all we got it done and all is fine. Interesting day though.
