Bronson 20
« on: June 22, 2019, 09:20:51 PM »

I just won a Bronson 20 at my local supermarket, I was originally going to sell it, but I wanted a grill for the garage when the weather is bad so I decided to keep it. So far so good, my question is does anyone know if there are bull rack style systems or options for the smaller Traeger models?

Thanks,
Jon

Nice win! Rack wise I am almost sure improvisation is the answer.

Looks like only a small top grill rack accessory on their website.  May also want to check the dimensions on their Lil Tex smokeshelf.

I had another Traeger question.  Can I upgrade to the controller with meat probes or is there more to it than just the controller?

You would have to check with Traeger as you may need to change out the probe inside the grill too.  If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.  I have 5 different manufacturer grills and none of them have a grill probe into the controller that is as accurate as a Thermoworks grill grate or meat probe.  You would be better served buying a good remote thermometer like Thermoworks Smoke or Signals, or some of the other remote thermometers out there above the Maverick grade.

Looks like the Bronson 20 is the same as a junior (with better legs) when you search for accessories.
