Pumpkin Spice Spam
« on: August 15, 2019, 05:20:08 PM »

Not much of a fan anymore but I just heard they are going to sell Pumpkin Spice Spam starting in the Fall.
Not sure if it is a seasonal thing like all the latte's etc, probably is but interesting anyway.
Might make me want to try this one and the traditional one.

I sorta like the smoked version but, pumpkin spice?  May have to try it though.  So many varieties, so little time. :rotf:

I'm a fan of original Spam.
Fried Spam with my breakfast eggs is the best.
But Pumpkin Spice Spam? Really?
What is that all about?
No thanks

My only interest is in just to say I tried it.
I understand it is a big deal in Hawaii (spam) so maybe that is the target?
Kristin, do you like regular spam?

I love regular Spam and things like hickory flavored Spam.  Even toured the SPAM Museum!  But I am not a great fan of pumpkin spice except in pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread.  I don't even like pumpkin ice cream. So pumpkin spice Spam just sounds horrid!

I do not think I have ever tried Spam.  I think I would have to try the original version or a smoked version before venturing to pumpkin spice.  Sound strangely interesting though.

SPAM is a tremendous product, even Hickory flavor to a lesser extent.  Pumpkin spice...negative!

Most of you ole tymers have seen the SPAM Museum

I am also in the original spam group.  My wife tried to get the "less salt" version once and I had to put my foot down don't mess with my spam.  :)

Well DO IT.
Get some SPAM. If it's out of the can, slice some up about 1/8" thick and fry it. Get the outside a tad crispy.
This stuff is good and salty, so be prepared. Have it with your eggs.
