This showed up on my facebook. I took a look. It might be something I want. I know I have seen people ask about rotisseries in a pellet cooker, some say no use for it due to convection, me I think the rotisserie is more for a self baste and  could work well with the hot air moving about. I am going to post a link to the Roto-Q-360 kickstarter page. the name is there now if Bentley decides the link is not acceptable and chooses to remove it. I have nothing in this just thought some here may be interested.

Looks very interesting.  I am still trying to figure out how it turns without electricity.

Me too.  Looks like it has to be wound up like a clock.  I guess you set the time it runs by the amount of turns??

Yep, I just read that...and then bought one.  I really liked pork loins on the rotisserie I had on my Weber Summit gas grill years ago.  Planning to use this equipment to put on a pellet grill and do the same thing.  Kabobs will be another nice thing to do again using this.

It looks like a great addition to my repertoire of grilling gadgets. I'd buy it now if it were available, but since it's not, I'll wait until November If I'm still vertical.  :bbq:

I am thinking of the grill package. Not sure why something so small is going to cost 50 bucks to ship. My cousin camps a lot and we visit them, so the grill thing may be nice. Thread on some hunks of cow or country style ribs, maybe some chicken breast with a rack abov it with some bacon laying  on to drip down.

Thanks for the heads up Big Dave.  My family loves rotisserie chicken so I decided to take a chance and order the family package.
My main concern would be durability of the unit.

I did message them and ask about the grill pack and if thy have any videos of it set up and working, I also questioned the spring losing tension over time and effecng the speed and length of time it would turn. I will post their answers if they get back to me.

I did not get any more info on the grill part but below is what they sent me on the spring. The kickstarter page says lifetime warranty but their reply to me say 1 year.

Yes for your interested and support for ROTOQ360, our life test on the spring are 10,000hrs, and our warranty is 1 year.  Gradually the springs will get weakens and loses tension, but it should last you a long time!  All parts and accessories will be avab separately on our www.rotoq360.com shortly.  Once again we thank you for sharing us to your friends and families.  Stay safe my friend

I think as long as you would put the motor part on the top. i think you would have to engineer something to may to help support the sides since they are now the top and bottom, and you may need to just put the handle down through one of the openings in the gate so it sits flat, there doesn't look to be much of a stub on the opposite end of the motor. Possibly the only other issue is something to hold the meat up off the bottom when you turn it on it's side.
