Sorry to derail the thread with plumbing.  Let's get back to talking about rolls.  Did any of those pics help, FMT?

They look super good for a commercial roll, I know that. The ingredient list is a little low rez, so I can't read a ton of it at least on my phone. It looks to be a really commercial list, so I'm guessing without knowing the type of flour they use I won't be able to decipher much about the style. I will have to see if I can order some online somewhere and give them a try.

Usually means they add Niacin and other good things for kids that hate whole wheat bread!

Here is some "shaved" meat for use in cheesesteaks that they had at the local grocery store, Giant

That’s very convenient. What is the weight per package?  I used to shop at Giant when I lived in western PA. I’ve never seen one in NC.

$6, $7, $8/lb?  Shoot, for $8/lb I will go buy a USDA Choice Rib Roast at Costco.  Although, $8.99 for a whole roast. $12.99/lb for a 4lber, just dont get get it!

My version of the cheese steak.  I like sauteed onions and green peppers mixed with the beef and then provolone cheese.

If you would have added mushrooms to that cheesesteak, it would have been labeled a cheesesteak special up here.

Man this thread just made me crave true Amoroso rolls.  If anyone lives in the Philly area and can arrange a shipment to me of 10” or 12” direct from the bakery, I would pay handsomely or work on a return shipment from Minnesota. DM me if you are making a trip there anytime soon.
