New Burger King Commercial?
« on: July 17, 2020, 12:04:23 AM »

So this Burger King commercial just passed on my screen on the TV. I had to take a Screenshot of it. Really? Sorry, I had to laugh at this one.

Marketing for the sheep...
Indeed!.  There are natural methane releases at various places on earth that it would take 10 zillion cows to equal.  What about human xxxxxx?  I would suggest a fine for public farting. We could have special police to monitor all this.  I can see a new TV series called the "Fart Patrol". Or a new documentary on a new industry that collects cow xxxxxx as a fuel source. (aka Thunderdome?)
Personally, I think that the inmates are running the insane asylum.  When I see what is going on in NYC, Chi, Seattle, I am sure of it.

Just read this:  "Greenhouse gas emissions from the agriculture sector made up 9.9% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions in 2018, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Of that amount, methane emissions from livestock (called enteric fermentation) comprised more than a quarter of the emissions from the agriculture sector."

So, if my math is correct ALL livestock would produce 2.5% of the total greenhouse gas released.  So beef cattle that ends up just as hamburger is what?  one quarter of 1% of total emissions. So Burger King's share of that is minuscule.  And I see they are marketing it as a special hamburger, so probably a special price.  PR stunt for sure
