Last full moon for 2020
« on: December 29, 2020, 10:16:25 PM »

The last full moon for 2020.  I took these with my Sony A6400 camera, Sony 70-350 lens using a tripod. The last few IMO looks like a dark whole or a portal where one could be transported to another dimension.  In this case year 2021.

Those are some pretty cool pics.  I love a good clear full moon.  The moon and stars still always amaze me.

When my wife wakes up in the morning I will have to see what if she got good pics from last night.  We took my daughter and her friend to "Holiday In the Park" at Six Flags Great Adventure yesterday (we are in NJ).  We have season tickets to the park, and they do a "great" holiday spread, decorating the park for the holiday.  It was not very crowded last night, we got there at 3pm and left at about 7:30 and temps were not too bad at about 34-32 degrees.  It might have been about 30 when we left.  Kids rode all the rollercoasters open all night with no lines...... I love rollercoasters, but with temps at 32 a bit too cold for me....man wish I was younger.  Anyways, at the main entry court yard, SFGA has a GREAT XMAS tree, and the full moon was directly over the tree last night.  If my wife got good pics I will forward, it was a great scene.  Looked awesome.  Biggest disappointment last nigh was the "adult" hot chocolate/hot toddy shack was closed (not sure why).  Wife and I had to settle for a couple IPAs while the kids had their fun.

I hope I can provide a few good shots, otherwise, did not mean to hijack the thread.

12/31/2020; Full moon seen at 8:45 AM in western sky.  Looks like it is beginning to wane just a little. Goodbye 2020 and don't come back!
