-3 below at 7 AM today and now a warm +12 a 4 PM.  Talking about having On/Off power periods in Tulsa. Hope not.  Dallas has had many disruptions in the past 2 days. More snow tonight after a clear 24hrs. Still gonna grill sausages for spaghetti tonight.

Sun came out for a couple of hours today for the 1st time in I am not sure.  High 40's.  Partly sunny tomorrow and then maybe snow Thursday.  I hope winter ends next Thursday!

Some sun here today and low 40s.  6-10 inches of snow in the forecast for Wednesday night into early afternoon Friday.  I still have a foot plus in some part of the yard and patio from the big storm on Feb 1st.

Mother-in-law had 3-5 inches of snow in MS for the first time in quite some time and some ice after some ice late last week.  Forecast for more ice tonight into tomorrow.

We had 8" Sunday night to Monday morning.  I woke up about 2:00 this morning, and the power was out.  Finally got it back about 8:00 tonight.  The temp is finely up to 63 here in the house, and we have 5" of new snow.  I think were supposed to finally supposed to get above freezing on Friday.  This "man made global warming" is killing me.

We had -24°F Monday night in Omaha, my BIL in North Dakota said the news reported -33°F.  I think our Montana and Canadian friends can beat that.

In SW Michigan, we ended up getting around 9 inches of fresh snow, Monday night into Tuesday with some blowing and drifting, enough to make the snow removal equipment appreciated. This lest us with around a solid foot or so on the ground.

This Wednesday am, it was between 10 to 15 below zero. A little brrrrisk for this area,

Just in time for spring to tease us a little the first of next week with temps likely to be back up in the 30’s to possibly near 40..

We feel for those of you that already got ‘blasted’, or those you are still in line to get your share of this system.

Stay warm and safe.

Time to think what’s on the agenda for this spring for the smokin, and grilling agenda when Mother Nature warms up a little.

We have a new winner at -24°.   Any other takers.

I remember doing a coldest Thread one time on Pelletheads, back when we were in Pasadena and I thought an overnight low of 41° was just ridiculous cold!  I remember seeing Members post some Thermapen and Maverick reading and I though...these are just make believe numbers!

I believe one time 3-4 years ago we had an overnight low of -9° here.  The most this year has been a couple of overnights in the high teens.
