Yep.  I've been reading about them for a while.  At first I thought that it was a gimmick, but the more I had the more I'm convinced to try them.

Thanks for posting.

They really were not bad, I would wonder if using 90/10 would make a difference with the sour cream? I think that is the issue the sour cream coats everything and it keeps the meat from bonding together when cooked.

I  will be watching to see how you attack these, when you make them.

On my current RV trip I brought only my 17" Blackstone.. i brought my GrillGrates and I put them on it and I grilled two ribeye steaks.   It took 5 minutes on each side flipping them twice, but they turned out fantastic.

I have heard of people doing this. I have a set I may have to give it a try.

I've smoked steaks at 180° on the Woodwind Pro then seared them on the gas grill of the Sidekick but doing the GrillGrates on the flat top sounds like a great excuse to need GrillGrates. ;D

Picked up large pack of original Johnsonville brats at Gordons. Froze 12 of them and made these, just peppers and onions and some potatoes I microwaved and cooled then made wedges and browned. Picked up some bakery rolls at Giant Eagle and provolone, and mustard on the sammies, sorry no pics of them. I almost forgot to post this one.

The GF wanted patty melts.

 So made up 6 oz patties from some ground chuck picked up a loaf of Beefsteak seeded rye bread, there was no fresh rye bread at the bakery, neither of us are fond of swiss cheese so I have provolone and she wanted white American, I sliced up about 6 yellow onions and caramelized.

I cooked the onions down to much for my liking, very sweet flavor, and one that you would remember for hours after you ate them. 

They were good, don't think I ever made them before, and probably only ever ate one that I can remember. Things to change for next time, don't cook the onions down as much and use less butter and oil to do them, and for her use Texas toast, she didn't care for the rye bread.

Also ran 2 potatoes through the mandolin to make french fries (kind of) and just did them on the griddle also.

Looks great.  What was your process for making the fries on the griddle?

Just ran them through the julienne blade on the mandolin, Then washed well, and left in a bowl of water. When ready to cook I just drained them well and dried some with some paper towels, then some bacon up on the griddle and just put the potatoes on and tossed in the bacon up and cooked them turning now and then and some salt and pepper. Cooked on high for  most of the cook.

 We have done bagged fries on the griddle in the same manner, just some sort of oil or butter down then the fries or tots in the oil and tossed around and did until done to our liking. You could also use a pan of some sort, some use foil half size pans with some oil in for me I use maybe an inch of oil and heat it up on the griddle while doing other stuff then could deep fry.
