Some nice pictures of the vacation. The burger gets my vote for the food, I am not a big sauce on things person so most of the other plates I would  have probably eaten but the burger would have been the treat I would have went back to again and again.

The food pics are interesting. ... The  ones of the countryside are amazing. They warm me up on these cold & dull Winter days.

I think it was 9 hours in Hilo, 13 in Honolulu, 9 in Kawaii, about 9 in Lahaina and about 5 in Ensenada.

How much time did you get to spend off the ship ?
The 2 cruises we've been weren't more than 5 to 6 hours off the ship.

Did you get some of the fish tacos in Ensenada.  Wow, just realizing its been over 20 years since I've been there when I used to go there for work.  Wonder what has changed since then.

Kristin was starting to get the flu or Covid the night before, so she did not get off.  I got off and started to walk to the main road, but it was a long way, and to be honest with you, not the time of day I eat that much.  We were allowed to get off the boat at 8 and had to be back on by 1pm, so I really did not want to eat. Specially a fish taco!

If you have any pictures of Ensenada, please send me a few.  I am curious how it looks compared to when I was there.

Princess.

Lets just say that it was no where near as pleasurable as the 2019 Panama Canal, nor the 2003 Alaska Inside Passage.  I am afraid that Princess is either becoming a 2nd Carnival (their parent company) or they are not back to pre-covid performance.  We assumed after a year + of resumed cruising they would have been at 100%, they are far from that!  In a word, it was very disappointing!

It will be awhile before I go on another cruise.

I'm sorry to hear that Princess has deteriorated. I have 17 Princess cruises under my belt and 20 overall. I've been an elite member for over eight years. Health does not allow for cruising these days. It looks like you enjoyed the trip. Nice post.

Nice picts, thanks for sharing your vacation!
I remember that blue you are talk8mg about. Two westpacs. The sea is beautiful out there. Did you get a chance to see the Milky Way? The stars were always amazing too.

Only chance was the night before we got into Ensenada.  It was a bright sky, but even with them trying to cut as many lights as possible on the aft part of the ship, still not as good as I had hoped.  Not a whole lot better then a clear moonless night here.

You didn't happen to be in Maui on 12/29 did you?
If so this might be a picture of your ship that I got by accident while on a whale watch.

Just 2 from the boat!  It has change a great deal from when i was there in 1996, even a bit more since the last time I was there in 2008.  The harbor area is completely changed in the last 25 years.

If you have any pictures of Ensenada, please send me a few.  I am curious how it looks compared to when I was there.
