Scotch Egg.
« on: March 08, 2023, 02:44:22 PM »

Last time I made one, I hard boiled the egg, a no no for a true Scotch Egg.  This time, sous vide at 190 for 8 minutes.  Whites prefect, yoke a little hard for what I think a Scotch Egg yoke should be.  And on a side note, to much work, give me 2 over easy eggs over a biscuit with sausage gravy.  Half the time, twice as good!

Looks really good, but sounds like I would go the over easy and sausage gravy route as well.

I made them a long time ago, it was good but i am kind of with you. I would just make a nice sausage patty an egg, some cheese and put it all on a toasted bagel or english muffin.

I'm for the egg, sausage patty, biscuit and sausage gravy. Just one of each and just half a biscuit and lotsa gravy would do it. Tried the scotch egg once.  That was enough.
