I would love to find a great meatloaf recipe not using to tomato paste. I like gravy on mine.
Sounds pretty simple, pick your meat/meats, any vegetation you may want, the seasonings/flavors you like, eggs and pick your favorite filler, crackers, oatmeal, bread crumbs, croutons, torn up bread, corn flakes. Mix and form. I know some people that add milk also.
I cheat I usually use ground beef and pork, a box of stove top stuffing, some course chopped onions, 2-3 eggs, usually some other seasoning. I make loaf shapes and hit the top with a BBQ rub we make up. Usually make to and then the next day vac seal one and freeze, then reheat with the sous vide supreme.
