Recently bought a Pit Boss Copperhead 7 and have been using it. The Rec Tec which was just in my way anymore I sold it a couple of weeks ago.
Did you find that you can cook everything you were on the Rec Tec on the Copperhead?
Yes and more. It does jerky well and you can get a bunch in it. I need to dig out the stuffer and make some sausage. I do my butts in my smokette, just easier, but most everything else was in the Rec Tec or the GMG, I have been only using the C7 now. It gives me some temps swing issues at times for some unknown reason, but I do like it so far. As I use it if the temps don't settle down or whatever I may look at a SS controller. I was going to get one of the RT wifi deals but then I would give up that low 150 temp smoke.
