 "Busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs" - makes me laugh typing it. :D

I love those adages. They paint a vivid picture and can get a point across in a direct and humorus way. It is interesting to think about the things that make us laugh.

Earlier today I read what was billed as the world's most "Universally funny joke". I'm not sure if it is or not. When I first read it I chuckled a little bit. When I read it to my wife, she just gave me  a look that said: Why did you just waste my time telling me that? So for better or worse here it is, you can judge for yourself!

“Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He’s not breathing and his eyes are glazed, so his friend calls 911. ‘I think my friend is dead! What should I do?’ The operator replies, ‘Calm down, sir. I can help. First make sure that he’s dead.’ There’s a silence, then a loud bang. Back on the phone, the guy says, ‘Ok, now what?’”

 As there is no "JEST" section, this post could be added to as we go. That way all things jest-full would be in one place..We have no jest or humour section.

 I find doing a search can sometimes be time consuming for certain information as the topic doesn't always coincide with the information in the posts. A proper topic is paramount when posting anything. We tend to go off topic, that adds to the problem.  My

reasoning is archival searching. In a year or two, it will be harder to find things as the data base grows..

 The down side, a person wouldn't be recognized as having generated a new topic. To some that may be a concern.

 Just my thoughts.
