Yes, Home Depot special,  got it for like 25 bucks. Been using it near three years now no issues. Keep it under the smoker or to the side.

I bought one these.

https://www.amazon.com/PowerSmith-PAVC101-Amp-Ash-Vacuum/dp/B0060EUA32/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1519231874&sr=8-3&keywords=fireplace+ash+vacuum

I have the same one that I also purchased on Amazon. I'm satisfied with it for the most part. It could use a longer hose.

We could all use a longer hose.

Seems there are several Buckethead vac users.  Does it vacuum the ash without making a mess or firing it out the exhaust vent?  Just use the filter that comes in the box?I wasn't sure if the Buckethead was being used for pellets or ash.
Thanks

Bucket Head for me as well with a piece of pvc pipe in the end of the hose to get into all the nooks and crannies.

Does the buckethead work well for ash cleanup?  Or just pellet cleanup?  Any special filters?

Been working for several years for me out of the box.  I never changed a filter.

Sure do. A small "Shop-vac". The only problem with any vacuum is GREASE. It makes a mess of the inside of the hose, and if not careful, the filter bag/filter.

I suck up all of the black pieces that fall inside the grill with my bucket head.  I don't use it or the hose for anything other than my grills.
