Before pellet cooker days, I used to mix it with apple juice, worchestershire sauce, and hot sauce and use as a spritz on ribs and sometimes chicken breasts when "smoking" on my gas grill.

I have used it in a baked bean recipe that my wife likes, but I don't eat baked beans so all I can say is she likes it better with the liquid smoke than without.

If I make some sort of roast in the crock pot with liquids, I sometimes add some for a fake smokey flavor so it closer resembles that "smoked" flavor.

I have also used some in some jerky marinade I made in the dehydrator to again give it a fake smoke flavor.

I use it in my Calico Bean recipe and sometimes add some when making BBQ sauce.

I use it for a little extra flavor in my jerky as I use a dehydrator usually, also in beans or anything I want a touch of smoke flavor in when I am not cooking in the smoker.

I get all the smoke flavour I want from my cookers, pellet, or charcoal with wood chunks. ..Just be careful with the liquid smokes, they are very powerful.

As noted above, BBQ sauce, snack mixes, crotch pot and sometimes my burgers. To me its a flavor don't even think as it as replacement of actual real smoke.

I used it once several years ago.  I don't recall the recipe.  I didn't like it and haven't used it since.  I sometimes think I can taste it in restaurant food.
