I’m jealous.

Try grating your own horseradish if you can buy it in your area.  I’ve never done it.

Maybe I should through some hot sauce in the jar with the horseradish ;D

Try wasabi instead  of horseradish -- or mix some in.

I have the same cooler for SV.  Have you done a 160 deg. or higher cook in that cooler?  I destroyed a smaller Igloo cooler @165 deg.

Thanx

I have not.  Not sure I see the need to cook at that high of temperature.

Chicken cooks @ 165, scrambled eggs and egg bites are done @ 172.  Hard boiled eggs are also ~170 but I don't bother SV for them.

I don't eat eggs and have no interest in sous vide chicken

That meat looked phenomenal, I could surely pass on the horseradish, that is something that I never could get myself to eat.
Several years ago we went out to a nice steakhouse and I ordered prime rib, came with the obligatory baked tater etc. I always ask for extra sour cream and out came the plate with 3 containers, they put the horseradish by the meat and the other two were by the potato, I just set aside the H-R one and put both of the others into my baked potato, ruined that instantly. That sealed the deal for me.

Do you ever freeze the raw and slice for cheese steaks?  Wait, you buy pre sliced stuff at RD?

I buy the pre sliced from RD.  It is about $3.50/# sliced, portioned with wax paper in between portions.  That prices is too good for me to want to mess with slicing my own.

O.K. That is really good looking for that $. We live in a cattle country area, starting to wonder if they ship all the good stuff. Been a few years for us at RD. What would that cost in a chain store.

It is Rib Roast for that price?  It is uncooked?  I gotta make sure I look for that next time and hope it is not just a PA RD thing!  I cant make Cheese Steak, Italian Beef or French Dip for that Price...With any kind of roast prices around here...
