Made the trip to Franklin BBQ today. I must say waiting in line was like attending a football tailgate.
For me I wish I would have skipped the sides. I was not a fan. What surprised me was the best thing to me was the pork rib. The beef rib and moist brisket was a close second. The turkey and sausage didn't have enough flavor for me. The pulled pork wan't bad also.
Now I would go back but I must say you better take out a loan before you go. My "sample" plate was $88.00 w/o tip!
The beef rib was $39.00 ($30.00 a pound). To me it was not worth that.
Is Franklin the best brisket in the world? Not to me but if I was them I would not change a thing.
